Which method you use will really depend on your particular malalignment and if your orthodontist and Invisalign consider you to be a candidate for their tray system. You may need more correction than Invisalign can do for you. I think both Invisalign and Rapid are basically the same type system for orthodontics. Both work equally well and the tray system is an excellent choice for ortho treatment with advantages, that to some, may far outweigh the use of the traditional method of ortho. It will really depend on the difficulty of your treatment. I've seen some patients do very well with this system, just as I have with others who use the traditional method. As for time involved, it really depends on your teeth, bone structure, how much movement is needed to correct your alignment, your bite, as well as straighten the teeth and your corporation with treatment.These are questions that your dentist or orthodontist can answer for you in great detail. First find out if you "can" use this method of orthodontics or if you will have to use the traditional method. I would just say invisalign, but they cost waaaaayyyy more... For me, I just got regular braces and they were just as fast...

I don't know about that rapid thing but I do know that Invisalign is a pain in the @ss.. you have to take them in and out to eat, among other things.. and that can get tiresome.. FAST.
I'm not sure but hte invasalign are mroe popular. Although, you have to qualify for the invasalign thing. Not everyone can get tehm. Mostly adults and people with some kind of overbite or something.
