Any one know the best place to get white fillings, went to the dentist today and he said it would cost just under 拢400.

why not just stick with regular fillings, no one will be able to see them anyway!
That's really expensive. I recently had one done on one of my front teeth at my dentist and although it sot more than the metal ones, it was still under 拢100.
Where abouts in your mouth is the filling going to be? I had to have a replacement filling a while ago and as it was in one of my back teeth the dentist recommended the standard silver filling as no one would see it so why waste money as white fillings are expensive but 400 seems a little extreme are you sure this is for the basic white filling and not porcelain?
Flipping hell that's expensive, in the surgery where i work we charge between 拢55-65 per white filling, you should shop around and find some where cheaper that's not prepared to charge you the earth!
On the NHS you can have white fillings down on your front teeth, white fillings on the back teeth are not available on the NHS as the nhs class this as vanity!
White fillings are not always appropriate for posterior (back) teeth. White fillings are made up of a composite resin, or plastic,and will wear away a lot easier in the posterior teeth. If you are looking for a cheap dentist good luck, the only ones I know are the clinic type settings and you will get exactly what you pay for, cheap dental work that may need to be replaced a lot sooner. Ask your family, friends, work acquaintances who a good dentist is and go from there.
I can only presume you're getting a few. Otherwise you're being seriously ripped off.
At my dentist it costs from 拢68 and could rise to about 拢100 depending on the size of the filling.
Just call around the dental surgeries in your area and ask for prices.
